Rare Antique Taoist Ritual painting - Mien / Yao Hilltribe
circa 18th century

At every ritual, in the Yao or Mien hilltribe, a set of 29 tao-ist paintings is displayed.
The set consists of 17 big & 6 small vertical paitings, 1 long horizontal banner, 4 masks and 1 crown.
This is one of the 6 small paintings used at rituals. Unfortunately the rest were in badly deteriorated states
and only one was worth aquiring and preserving.
